Lauryn McLoughlin

Lauryn is an Outreach Research Technician working with the soil ecology research group at The University of Manchester. Lauryn is also working with N8 Agrifood’s new ‘state-of-the-art’ mobile trace gas and stable isotope tracking laboratory (GasLab). To generate data on greenhouse gas emissions and dynamics in relation to grassland management practices in the UK manipulating crop and soil interactions influences the coupling of carbon and nitrogen dynamics at fine temporal and spatial scales. A key part of Lauryn’s work is a to develop knowledge exchange activities and education in factors regulating greenhouse gas fluxes in agri-ecosystems.
